Canvas Options
Unstretched Canvas
- We require at least 1 ½” of blank canvas around your image
- Canvas will be gallery wrapped (staples in back)
- Stretcher bar height determined by amount of blank canvas around image, up to 1 ⅜”
- Canvas is placed into a floater frame
- ¼” space between canvas and floater frame
Stretched Canvas Gallery Wrapped
- Canvas cannot be deeper than 1 ⅜”
- Canvas is placed into a floater frame
- ¼” space between canvas and floater frame
Stretched Canvas Not Gallery Wrapped
- Choose any frame with a rabbet depth that meets or exceeds the canvas depth
How to Measure Your Canvas
Measure the length and width of your canvas as per image, rounding up to the nearest whole inch.
The maximum size we can frame is 32” x 40”.
Glazing Information
Regular Acrylic
Your piece will be framed using regular acrylic which is a resilient material that is less likely to shatter than ordinary glass, under the same circumstances. This, combined with a lighter overall weight, makes acrylic a safer choice especially in an environment with children.
Conservation Acrylic
Upgrading to Conservation Acrylic will provide you with 99% ultraviolet protection. Ultraviolet light, either from direct sunlight or fluorescent light, will cause your artwork to fade over time. We highly recommend using Conservation acrylic on diplomas, certificates, collectable jerseys, original artwork or any item that you want to protect over time.
